The Toro Z Master® 4000 HD Series is a line of commercial-grade, heavy-duty zero-turn mowers designed for professional landscapers and owners of large properties (5+ acres). Known as a "durability king," this series combines high-speed mowing (up to 12 mph) with rugged construction to handle demanding, all-day work.
Key Features and Description
- Cutting Deck: Features a 7-Gauge High-Strength Steel TURBO FORCE® cutting deck, available in 52-inch and 60-inch options (with 48" and 72" also available in the broader 4000 series line). The deck includes a reinforced "bullnose" bumper for extra protection against impacts.
- Engine Power: Equipped with heavy-duty, commercial-grade engines, typically a 25.5 HP Kawasaki® FX801V or 31 HP Kawasaki FX921V, providing superior power in thick grass.
- Transmission & Speed: Uses Hydro-Gear® ZT-4400 or ZT-5400 integrated transmissions for high-torque performance on slopes. It boasts speeds up to 12 mph (19.3 km/h), allowing operators to clear large acreage fast.

- MyRIDE® Suspension System: Many models feature the MyRIDE system, which isolates the operator platform to reduce bumps and vibrations.
